Go to /journeys/track, or open tracking from your booking confirmation when linked.

Track by booking reference (for example a BOK-… style ref) or by bus registration number.
Sign in if required
Sign in when prompted if you are tracking from your own bookings list.
Read the live map
When telemetry is active after departure, the map shows the latest reported position; refresh if the coach has not started reporting yet.
How does real-time bus tracking work in Sri Lanka on CeyBus?
CeyBus shows live GPS for eligible trips after the coach has departed and the operator’s telemetry is reporting. Families use this on overnight Jaffna runs and long Anuradhapura or hill-country trips to see whether the bus is moving and roughly where it is.
Tracking is not a substitute for the timetable. If GPS has not started yet, the coach may still be at the stand or telemetry may be offline — refresh later or check your booking status.
How to open tracking on your phone

4. When telemetry is active, the map shows the latest reported position; speed may appear when the feed includes it.
Recent searches can be reused on the same device for convenience.

Eligibility and limits
Not every coach publishes GPS. Live tracking appears only when the operator trip is configured for telemetry and the device is sending updates after departure.
Position updates can lag in tunnels, remote stretches, or when the unit loses connectivity. Treat the map as the latest reported location, not a guaranteed second-by-second feed.

Why is my bus not showing on the map yet?
